  The last time their respective fans united over a cause was on a collaborative project that saw both the experience of Kvng KiLa and the I-need-to-make-a-statement will of Mr. Legend collide. That collision course was the antecedent of one of the hallmarks of collaborations, especially on this side of the creative space. On its sub-thematic bearing, the song explores the breach of gender dichotomies in contemporary African societies.  On a wider analysis, the smash joint draws its content from two outstanding sources. In the first instance, the literary assertions of the first Generation poets of Negritude cannon of Leopold Sedar Senghor and David Diop influence the Pan-African undertone of the song.  Secondly, the song shares similar philosophical bearing with KvngKila and Mr. Hood's hardcore jam " The Chant ", a song which shows the artistes' lyrical predilections and dexterous penmanship yet exploring the duo's (KiLa and Mr. Hood's) glorification of Africa and its underlying beauties. History, although often told by others, is more of a personal endeavour — we take part in certain activities because of how we want to be remembered. Likewise, the avoidance of certain activities is simply hinged on our inherent desires to get a pass mark when life begins to score us. In 2020, Nigerian rapper Kvng KiLa may have had the sands of time on his side, and the feeling of assurance of a place in the history books of the Bayelsan entertainment industry. However, immeasurable measures taken are what construct a lifetime of achievements that supersede generations. Therefore, the consolidation of artistic infinity would depend largely on a lot of far-reaching moves. One of these moves? A look at the rear-view mirror.  So...

KiLa                   Mr. Legend These days it's not uncommon to find Bayelsan rappers, KiLa and Mr. Legend, in the studio together, they've spent the first and second quarters of the year recording for their upcoming collaborative project, 03:02:01. KiLa is certainly not new to the game, as he has the backing of two (with one in sight) studio projects to justify his time here. However, for Mr. Legend, this will be an introductory class to what lies ahead. It will be his debut. Having finally contacted KiLa's camp, after many failed attempts, the "broke rapper" artist was happy to speak about the project with one of our correspondents. KiLa Stinocity has told the general public that one of its clients, KiLa , has become the first Bayelsa-based artist to amass over two thousand streams from audio streaming platform, Spotify. This news was conveyed via a Facebook post of Azibs, Egunema Hastone, founder Stinocity (a digital marketing and distribution company). Inasmuch as we can't verify the authenticity of this claim, there's every evidence of gross indulgence by fans of the rapper in Lost Pages . Since the release of his last two projects ( B.O.W. and Lost Pages ), KiLa's online presence has risen, exposing him to larger and more sensitive fans worldwide. The Lost Pages Project was dropped this year, and it's still one of the favorites.. The role of Stinocity in this can't be overlooked. The company which is likely the first of it's nature in the state is a major one in the distribution of digital contents across audio streaming platforms such as Spotify, Sound...
